Alastair has travelled the Middle East and Asia collecting and importing a wide range of interesting, unusual and unique for over 30 years.  An expert on world textiles he has written several difinitive books on kelims including, 'The Complete Guide' and 'Living with Kelims' and has an extensive collection of old and rare Afghan and Iranian kelims.

We pride ourselves on our committment to ethically trading and be involved with the development of our suppliers/producers where possible to help ensure the well being of their workers and their environment. We are also members of BAFTS in support of the growing number of wholesalers and retailers committed to making a difference.

Haddenham Galleries  

We also run as well as the wholesale business several ethnic retail showrooms a kelim showroom and a contemporary creative arts gallery based in Haddenham nr Ely in Cambridgeshire.  We are also home to nine artists who have studios on site, a tea shop, a sculpture garden and numerous childrens workshops which run throughout the year. So if you are in the area,  come and visit there is plenty to see.
